Bird Control

Our technicians will do a complete inspection of the structure to determine the extent of the infestation, and offer the best exclusion method to prevent further problems. We remove nesting material, debris, feces, and can humanely remove birds and babies. Where possible, pressure washing can be done to remove caked fecal matter and a full decontamination spray is used to kill remaining bacteria and fungus.

Bird-spike, bird-wire, netting, shock-track, and wire mesh are just some of the methods that can be used. All materials and products used are of the highest quality.

PIGEONS

Pigeons are the most common pest bird found in city areas. They usually roost along the top edges of buildings, in underground carports, or in areas that offer them shelter from the weather and predator birds (under peaks of roofs, awnings, soffits, etc.). These are also their preferred nesting locations, and many generations of pigeons will use the same nesting area if possible.

SEAGULLS

Seagulls most often are a problem when they establish nests atop of building roofs. They usually choose the higher building in an area.

Many of the deterrent methods used for pigeons are also used to control seagulls. It is often preferable to have these in place to prevent a problem. Most methods are used to prevent the seagulls from loitering on buildings and to prevent nests from being built. Once a nest has been established, a special permit is required before taking further action. NOTE: It's a crime to disturb a colony or nest unless you have been granted a special permit from the Canadian Wildlife Services.

OTHER BIRDS

Many other birds can cause problems, such as geese, starlings, swallows, and wood-peckers to name a few. Each problem is properly inspected and various solutions are offered to our clients. In some cases, federal protection laws limit what can be done without proper permits.
